Paul is a ‘Renaissance’ entrepreneur of the media, advertising, digital, marketing and communications industry. He has held leadership positions at the highest levels both globally and domestically in management, media, integrated business, brand, digital and communications strategy at holding companies including IPG, Y&R Inc, WPP and MDC Partners. He co-founded Naked Communications Americas, founded The Media Kitchen, and was named one of the ten most creative/innovative people in marketing and advertising by Fast Company. Paul is currently the CEO of Canvas Worldwide, a creatively driven global media and communications agency. He also is a senior fellow at Columbia University sponsored by both the School of Arts & The Business School, lecturing on the topic ‘Transformative Storytelling in a Digital Age.’ Born in Africa, raised in the UK, and now a US citizen, Paul has traveled extensively around the world both professionally and personally.

As Executive Vice President and Chief Product Officer at Comcast Cable, Chris Satchell helps the industry leader in Video, High Speed Data, Communications and Home Automation / Security develop customer-focussed products, innovations and services. Chris is responsible for Product Management, Design and Application / Device development across the Comcast Cable portfolio.

Most recently Satchell held the position of Consumer Technology Officer at Nike; leading strategy and execution (design, build, operate) related to all consumer-focused technology: e/mCommerce, Nike.com, Brick & Mortar Retail Technology & Infrastructure, Mobile Applications, Nike+, and Digital Brand Experiences / Activations.

Prior to Nike, Satchell held the position of Chief Technology Officer and Executive Vice President of R&D at IGT, the world leader in legalized gambling content, platforms and systems. Satchell’s role encompassed direct responsibility for global product development, spanning Game Platforms and Content, Casino-Systems products and infrastructure, Innovation Labs and cross-industry standards and interoperability.

Satchell has a long history in the video games industry, culminating as Chief Technology Officer for the Interactive Entertainment Business (IEB) at Microsoft, where he was responsible for technical strategy and execution across the gaming business at Microsoft; Xbox, Games for Windows, Xbox Live and Microsoft Game Studios. Satchell was also directly responsible for all Microsoft game development platforms and services through the XNA organization. Other industry roles include serving as an Executive Director at The 3DO Company, Technical Director for Silicon Dreams ltd and an Artificial Intelligence specialist and Project Leader for Eidos Interactive PLC.

In previous lives Satchell has been an engineer on Safety Critical Railway Systems and conducted post-graduate research into distributed artificial intelligence.

Chief Analytics Officer - Legendary Entertainment

Matthew Marolda is Chief Analytics Officer at Legendary Entertainment. He formed and runs Legendary’s Applied Analytics division, which uses data and analytics to drive strategic decisions across all aspects of the company. Prior to Legendary, Mr. Marolda founded StratBridge LLC in 1999. StratBridge had two software solutions businesses: “moneyball” player analysis software used by many organizations in the NFL, NBA, European Football and Major League Soccer (sold to XOS Digital in 2012), and dynamic pricing and revenue analysis software used by many professional sports teams (acquired by Legendary in 2014, after Mr. Marolda had joined Legendary). He earned his MBA at the Tuck School at Dartmouth where he won the Adams Award for Excellence in Entrepreneurship. Mr. Marolda graduated from Bowdoin College with Honors, earning majors in economics and mathematics and a minor in art history.

Steve is a 32+ year veteran in the car business. He currently consults for 3 digital technology companies: Yext, the leader in Digital Location Management, Moat, the top ͞third –party͟ Viewability and Attention analytics company, and Foursquare, who enriches customer experiences through best-in-class location intelligence. Prior to this Steve served as CMO for Hyundai, responsible for all marketing activities including brand communications, dealer association advertising, digital activities, CRM, sports sponsorships, and experiential efforts. He was lucky enough to lead multiple Super Bowl, Oscar, Grammy, and NCAA Football programs, and an award-winning multi-year integration with The Walking Dead. Before joining Hyundai, Shannon spent more than 28 years at GM, in his final position serving as Executive Director of marketing and product planning for Cadillac. Other positions included General Manager of Buick and Saab USA, and Executive Director of Marketing Services for GM Europe in Zurich Switzerland. He also spent 7 years with GM’s ground-breaking Saturn division, serving as Director of Marketing. His undergraduate degree is from Harvard, with an MBA from Columbia.

Kjerstin Beatty joined NBC as Vice President of Media for the Entertainment division in October of 2012. In this role, she is responsible for paid media efforts that support promotion for all NBC programming.

Prior to joining the network, Kjerstin was VP of Media for Showtime, where she played a key role in the launch of some of its most successful series, including “Homeland, “Weeds” and “Dexter.” Before her tenure at Showtime, Kjerstin worked on multiple accounts at the Manhattan offices of ad agencies Mediaedge and Mediavest.

Kjerstin holds a bachelor’s degree in history from Franklin & Marshall College in Lancaster, Penn.

Prior to his current position, Ian held various marketing, finance, and supplier management positions at Kia Motors and The Boeing Company.

Jessica is the Director of Content Strategy at Zoe Media Group, the digital media division of Rachel Zoe, Inc.. She leads growth, optimization, and distribution strategy across editorial, video, and distributed content, and is fascinated by the conversations and underlying emotions that lead to virality on the Internet. Prior to ZMG, Jessica led the content strategy team at Refinery29 where she partnered with editorial to drive triple-digit traffic growth over the last three years and spearheaded the creation of the Refinery29 Intelligence blog. Jessica comes from the startup world and has a degree in psychology from Northwestern University.

She speaks about data-driven editorial, the balance between data and brand identity, engineering virality, and distribution strategy and best practices.

Jonathan has been behind a number of innovative digital and social media “firsts” that have positioned his properties as leaders in this ever-changing landscape. In 1998, David Goodrich pioneered the first-ever online rich media campaign for Standard & Poor’s Personal Wealth. Soon after, in 1999, he was recruited to both Bluefly.com & Internet Shopping Network (ISN), first-ever ecommerce websites, as an Advertising Manager, but grew into Marketing Director under Barry Dillar at ISN. Since 2013, David has been Head of global ecommerce and for 21st Century Fox. In addition, David serves as a senior advisor for DistroScale.com, ScreenBid.com, Quidd.com, 4KUniverse, and Solid Opinion.com.

Prior to Fox, while President of Ignition Interactive, Ad Age’s Creativity Online recognized David Goodrich as a top 50 creative amongst the most influential creative thinkers and doers in the world, right along-side Jay-Z and Daft Punk. That same year Ignition received Canes prestigious Bronze and Golden Lion awards. Before CBS, Mr. Goodrich spent over 10 years innovating for the world’s leading advertising agencies, mostly at the helm of Digital, pioneering global creative and media work on behalf of Procter & Gamble, APPLE, Johnson & Johnson, GlaxoSmithKline, and all divisions of SONY, along with hundreds of other leading global brands.

David currently lives in Redondo Beach, California, with his two teenage sons, Myles (13) and Dylan (16). Mr. Goodrich most proudly holds the title of Educational Instructor and Leadership coach for his oldest son who is a junior in high school.

Kimberley Gardiner joined Kia Motors America in the Spring of 2016, as Director, Marketing Communications. At Kia, Ms. Gardiner leads the Marketing Communications department and oversees various consumer and industry trade communications aspects including business development strategy; product marketing and branding; third-party partnerships; digital marketing; sports marketing; social media and SEO strategy; CRM and PR.

In addition, Ms. Gardiner manages creative and production agencies and leads innovative partnership activations to generate awareness of Kia Motors America and the auto manufacturer’s product line.

Previously, Ms. Gardiner spent more than 15 years with Toyota USA, where she worked on a variety of consumer and industry facing initiatives across the Toyota, Lexus and Scion brands. During her tenure, Ms. Gardiner led a complete re-imagination of the Toyota digital experience and helped spearhead the ground-breaking launch of the Toyota Mirai Fuel Cell Vehicle.

Ms. Gardiner is a graduate of Indiana University, Bloomington; and Mills College in Oakland, California.

As winner of Mediapost’s 2014 and 2015 Creative Agency of the Year, Giant Spoon has proven that it fills the gap between large creative agencies and media agencies with its award-winning work, smart thinking, and disruptive strategies that are all digital at the core.

In 2016, Jonathan was named one of the top media executives in Los Angeles by Adweek. He has been an agent for innovation and change at several of the world’s largest advertising agencies. He engineered new models that not only became massive businesses in their own right but also served to bring a wide variety of Fortune 100 clients into the future of marketing.

Previously, Jonathan served as Chief Innovation Officer of Omnicom’s OMD. As the top innovation executive at OMD, he developed new functions in mobile, gaming, pop-culture, technology, and creativity and was responsible for leading edge brand strategies, creative media, new technology, emerging media, and all breakthrough initiatives for clients.Under Jonathan’s leadership, OMD saw exceptional growth and innovation in mobile and gaming and many of the programs he led captured recognition with over 70 awards including a Cannes Lion, multiple Adweek Buzz awards, Creative Media awards and Effies, among others.

Prior to joining OMD, Jonathan was Vice President of Innovations at Initiative, where he oversaw all content strategies, emerging technology, traditional media reinvention and cross-platform creative media projects. Jonathan holds a degree from The George Washington University. He is an avid technophile, an entertainment junkie and an amateur dog whisperer.

Donny lives at the intersection of strategy, digital, product and user experience, and consistently moves brands towards a better future. Always combining his intuition with his knowhow of industry trends and proven strategies, he has successfully developed RED’s diverse portfolio of innovative, global brand clients. Prior to Kochava, MacDonald served as the Vice President of Strategic Sales at Airpush, where he led sales and platform development projects around real-time bidding, predictive algorithmic optimization tech, advanced location targeting, UI design, among others. Prior to Airpush, MacDonald served as Regional Sales Manager at StrikeAd, the world’s first Demand Side Platform, and was a Regional Manager with American Express during the company’s digital transformation. Emma leads digital investment for Mindshare’s West Coast and Atlanta markets, working across brands such as Lionsgate, Nordstrom, Nature Made, and Campari. As the lead on digital buying, she’s responsible for driving forward Mindshare’s approach to initiatives such as trading, viewability, and programmatic.

A seasoned media veteran, Emma brings more than 15 years of industry experience to her role, having worked at agencies such as OMD, Carat, and more. She started her career in London as a TV buyer, before moving up to lead a TV trading team. She then transitioned to the world of digital; in her first role there, she masterminded and implemented the setup of a digital buying team. She then moved into a sales role for digital technology platform PulsePoint, where she was responsible for their UK sales operation.

Emma was recently named one of the winners on Cynopsis Digital’s inaugural ͞It List,͟ honoring top leaders across digital media.

Greg Johns is the EVP, Chief Digital Officer at Canvas Worldwide, a newly formed media agency in Los Angeles. His background spans multiple disciplines and markets, with expertise in digital analytics, digital technology platforms, digital operations as well as global digital strategy and investment. Greg also oversaw Canvas’ two main clients, Hyundai and Kia while at Initiative. He previously led the digital group at PHD in Los Angeles, overseeing a diverse group of clients including Mitsubishi, Overture Films and California Lottery. With PHD New York, Greg oversaw all digital operations and platforms for North America before moving to Omnicom Media sibling agency Annalect. There he served as Director of Media Technology, providing his digital strategy and investment expertise in the building of a wide array of technology solutions across OMG’s stable of Fortune 500 clients. Greg then returned to the automotive sector as Global Digital Lead on General Motors with Carat Detroit, overseeing both global digital strategy as well as Chevrolet US digital strategy and investment. Greg is a graduate of the Marshall School of Business at USC.

Maria Pousa

Maria joined Integral Ad Science in 2016 to lead global marketing, product marketing, and brand strategy. She joins from Mediaocean, where she led the global marketing team and aided in the company’s acquisition by Vista Equity Partners in 2015. Prior to Mediaocean, Maria headed up marketing for targeting provider interclick, and was instrumental in its acquisition by Yahoo! and transformation to Genome in 2012.

Maria has more than 15 years of experience and has held key roles at media/technology companies including AOL Advertising, TACODA, Innovid, and The NewsMarket. She started her career in market research at Kantar IBOPE Media in her native Argentina.

Maria is licentiate in Political Science and Public Opinion from Universidad de Buenos Aires and holds an MA in Media Studies from The New School in New York.

Kurt Kratchman is the COO of Grapeshot. He leads global operations across offices in New York, Cambridge, Chicago, London, Singapore, and Sydney. Kurt began his career in traffic engineering in New York City. From there he applied his skills to data visualization, rich media creation, content management, digital distribution and software development. After two successful exits to WPP (Blast Radius and Schematic), Kurtworked as a consultant helping companies with technology transfer, economic development initiatives, and most recently in private equity. He studied Philosophy and Jewish Studies at Tulane University and The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and new media at The Vancouver Film.

Prior to joining SITO, Adam led mobile marketing and brand management at Toys “R” Us, the largest global toy and juvenile products-focused retailer. During his tenure, he built the mobile marketing practice, driving more than $100 million in sales through mobile coupons, rewards and other digital tactics. He is also an active advisor to numerous digital marketing companies such as Kiip, a mobile engagement platform.

After 11 years at Starcom, Stephanie has learned to use her unique talents to lead and connect our data, content, and innovation arms at the agency. She has delivered never before seen solutions and answers for clients based on her ability to mirror how people experience brands and media. Stephanie has developed her expertise by working with clients such as P&G, Kellogg’s, Darden, Electronic Arts (EA), and Chick-fil-A.

Prior to her role at Starcom, Stephanie served as an Adjunct Professor of Marketing for the College of Continuing Education at DePaul and is a Marquette University Alumnus. She was also part of a team that received an Effie award for Kellogg’s Frosted Mini Wheats and was a CIMA Rising Star Nominee.

Although based in LA, Stephanie is a dedicated Chicago sports fan and enjoys all types of restaurants and spending time with her rescue dog, Tex.

Trey is the Head of MarketShare’s Automotive Practice and also the firm’s GM, based in Los Angeles. Trey is responsible for the analytic solutions and strategic advice delivered to MarketShare’s Fortune 500 clients. Prior to MarketShare, Trey’s experience includes senior roles in strategy, corporate finance and analytics in various areas of the media and technology sectors. Trey was an investment banker in Piper Jaffray’s Technology, Media and Telecom practice, where he specialized in adtech and digital marketing verticals. Prior to that Trey was a management consultant in Booz Allen Hamilton’s Marketing and Media Practice.

Trey holds an M.B.A. from Stanford’s Graduate School of Business and a B.S. in Economics from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

    Most recently Satchell held the position of Consumer Technology Officer at Nike; leading strategy and execution (design, build, operate) related to all consumer-focused technology: e/mCommerce, Nike.com, Brick & Mortar Retail Technology & Infrastructure, Mobile Applications, Nike+, and Digital Brand Experiences / Activations.

    Prior to Nike, Satchell held the position of Chief Technology Officer and Executive Vice President of R&D at IGT, the world leader in legalized gambling content, platforms and systems. Satchell’s role encompassed direct responsibility for global product development, spanning Game Platforms and Content, Casino-Systems products and infrastructure, Innovation Labs and cross-industry standards and interoperability.

    Satchell has a long history in the video games industry, culminating as Chief Technology Officer for the Interactive Entertainment Business (IEB) at Microsoft, where he was responsible for technical strategy and execution across the gaming business at Microsoft; Xbox, Games for Windows, Xbox Live and Microsoft Game Studios. Satchell was also directly responsible for all Microsoft game development platforms and services through the XNA organization. Other industry roles include serving as an Executive Director at The 3DO Company, Technical Director for Silicon Dreams ltd and an Artificial Intelligence specialist and Project Leader for Eidos Interactive PLC.

    In previous lives Satchell has been an engineer on Safety Critical Railway Systems and conducted post-graduate research into distributed artificial intelligence.
