Mark Himmelsbach is the President of Content & Social, Ogilvy North America, a unit dedicated to creating and distributing seamless stories and conversations across channels for clients such as IBM, American Express, and Unilever.
Prior to Ogilvy, Mark worked at a variety of advertising and media agencies including IPG Mediabrands, BBDO, PHD, and Organic. He was a part of global teams that won Cannes Lions, Effies, Spikes, Webbies and FWAs for a variety of clients including Chrysler, Charles Schwab, AT&T, FedEx, GE, HBO, Lowe’s, and Visa.
Before his career path turned towards marketing, Mark was a strategy consultant for the US Federal Government, where he worked with agencies like the US Secret Service and Department of Justice.
He holds a BA from Georgetown University and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. He lives on the Upper West Side of Manhattan with his wife Annie and his daughter Willa.
