David leads the planning community at Maxus, the fastest-growing media agency under the GroupM network, where he leads the architecture of the agency’s operating system on a global level. His remit is driving creativity, lifting the bar on communications planning rigor, and packaging and selling the work.

As a media and digital strategy professional, David has worked all over the world, from Australia and Asia to Europe and the U.S. His previous experience spans across FMCG, tech, automotive and retail sectors in various capacities, though he has truly “grown up” in media, starting as a buyer for Carat in 1994 and growing to become CEO of Maxus Australia, which he served as from 2009-2012. His specialties include communications strategy, digital, research and data analysis, and media.
